Math Duck Game: What It Is and Where to Play Now
By the Duck Math team ·

Math Duck is a type of puzzle platformer where you solve a missing-number equation and walk a duck to a key and door. Many people search for it because it is listed on Coolmath Games, Google Play and other sites, and not every version loads on every device.
How Math Duck plays
On Coolmath Games, Math Duck is listed under addition and subtraction. Each level shows an equation with a missing number. You collect the matching number, grab a key and reach the door while avoiding spikes. The listing describes 18 levels that get harder, with a ten-second window per equation, and controls on the arrow keys or WASD.
Why a version may not load
When we checked in October 2026, the Coolmath Games page said its version was Flash-based, not currently playable in most browsers, and that a fix was in progress. Other sites host their own versions, and availability varies and can change, so check the page itself.
Flash ended because browsers removed the plugin, so games built that way need to be rebuilt in HTML5 to run today.
Play Math Duck on Duck Math
- Math Duck (ours): an original HTML5 puzzle platformer with the same kind of challenge (find the missing number, get the key, open the door) across 15 levels. It is a different game from the Coolmath one that shares the name.
- Times Tables Duck Race: a multiplication race against a rival duck.
- Number Pond: a memory game matching equations with answers.
- Quick Sum Sprint: a 60-second mental math round.
Is Duck Math the same as Coolmath's Math Duck?
No. Duck Math is an independent site and has no connection to Coolmath Games or its game. Our Math Duck was built from scratch, with its own levels, art and code.
